In the evening after dinner at Dr Infantes Studio in Rosario. held a meeting, and formed a meeting to make a Company of the Estancia Los Algarrobos. to be called. "Sociedad Anonima Ganadera Los Algarrobos" [roughly: “Los Algarrobos Cattle Company, Inc.”] the capital to be 1.200.000$ m/n. in 1000 shares the duration of the Company to be untill 31 March 1950 2006.

The following helped with their names to form the nessesary number required to form a Company.

Left for Cordoba to make declaracion [statement] before the Juez de Crimen [Criminal Judge] in the case of Mr Francis against Austin. took along as witnesses Mr Lambert. Williams. Doctor Santucci and the Matasminio (scouts) [?] Mr Grant the lauer [lawyer] paid the expenses of this trip.

Went from Cordoba to Rosario. the rest of the party went to Bell Ville + Los Algarrobos.

Arrived in Rosario from Cordoba.

Attended Doctor Infante our lauer [lawyer] and the Escribano [notary] and signed the documents asking for the transference of the Los Algarrobos titles to the Sociedad Anonima Ganadera. Los Algarrobos, also saw about having the shares + statutes printed, and about the new books.

Drove to the Estancia La Victoria + back. four leagues to the S. of Medano de Las Canas [Cañas - Sand Dune of the Canes]. arranged with the owner. Luis Medaruiz to put 1500 head of cattle on his camp @ .80 cts per head for 4 months. on pasto fuerte.

Sent a letter dated the 23rd to Harold Sessions. England, comissioning him to send me an Anglo Normandy Stallion. to pay up to 200 £.

Drove to Bell Ville + back, cashed a cheque on London Bank for $7.000. at Banco de La Nacion. paid 7.$ com.

Paid Contribucion Ganado [livestock tax] of La Minnesota + El Victoriano and the Contribucion Directa [real estate tax] of "El Victoriano."

Sent the "Boleta de Señal" [brand certificate] to the Receptoría [recorder’s office] in Bell Ville to be changed to the name of "Sociedad Anonima Ganadera Los Algarrobos"

Marjorie + little Johnie drove to Monte Maiz to go to Fermat to visit R. Macintosh and on to Villa Constitucion to the Storeys

Held the first meeting of the Co. "Los Algarrobos Sociedad Anonima Ganadera". in Mr Martys office. Dr Infante presiding, and the representatives of the shareholders attended also. Matjorie was also there.

Backed a bill (the 1st time I ever backed one in my life) for Robert Macintosh. 20.000$ falls due on the 4th Oct. this is to enable him to take off the mortgage on his camp. to sell it to Douglas.

Bay Don, the Shire stallion bought for me by Birmingham in England arrived at Los Algarrobos.

Left for Rosario to be one of the Judges of the Durham cattle at the Rosario Show held by the Sociedad Rural Santafecina [Santa Fe Rural Society]. the other judges were Larden + H. Reid. took little Marjorie Daw along.
